Java Architects are responsible for the lead design role on a given full Software Development Life-Cycle project during inception and elaboration stages and serve as the technical lead during application construction.  In addition, they are involved with pre-sales efforts providing support to the sales team during client meetings/presentations, solution facilitation, task estimation, and proposal writing.

Our architects have extensive experience in the Best Practices of software development methodologies.  They are proficient in the use of design patterns, distributed application architectures, and enterprise messaging strategies.  They are required to possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Expert in J2EE™ technologies. Sun Certifications a plus.
• Proficiency in XML/XSL/XSLT, RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, Microsoft
• Experience leading large software projects
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Experienced in the use of tools for use case modeling, object modeling, and code generation (Together, Rational)
• Application Server experience (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss)
• Industry Leading Frameworks, Tools and Patterns (Struts, MVC, Ant, JUnit, etc.)
• Multiple Operating Platforms (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Windows)
